What is FSSAI?
FSSAI stands for the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India — an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. FSSAI is responsible for regulating and supervising the safety, manufacturing, storage, distribution, sale, and import of food to ensure safe and wholesome food for human consumption.
